Carma J. (Querry) Brumbaugh

Carma J. Brumbaugh, 84, of Mapleton Depot, PA, passed away on May 18, 2026 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, Huntingdon, PA.

Born on April 9, 1942 in Cass Township, Huntingdon County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Luden H. and Hazel (Campbell) Querry.  She was united in marriage to Chester E. Brumbaugh on December 31, 1960 at Harmony Church of God, Calvin, PA.  Mr. Brumbaugh preceded in death on August 23, 2015.

Mrs. Brumbaugh is survived by daughter Rebecca L. Rudy and husband Terry, Petersburg, PA, son Corey L. Brumbaugh and wife Terri, Huntingdon, PA, son Wesley E. Brumbaugh and wife Jennifer, Orbisonia, PA, grandchildren Megan Thompson and husband Rich, Eric Brumbaugh and wife Jennifer, Shannon Jones and husband Tom, Coryna Muckenfuss and husband Jesse, Cheyanne Watson and husband Kory, Alonna Querns and husband Matt, Gavin Brumbaugh and wife Keira, Carly Rudy and Cody Rudy and great-grandchildren Bailey, Sage and Decklan Thompson, Allison, Lyla and Kolton Muckenfuss, Douglas and Jenson Brumbaugh, Soren and Selah Querns, Lorelei and Whitley Watson and Henry Brumbaugh.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Douglas L. Brumbaugh and siblings Paul Querry, Dennis Querry, Joy Moore, Sharon Neville and Vanessa Campbell.

She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School - Class of 1960.

Mrs. Brumbaugh was a member of Harmony Church of God, Calvin, PA since 1951.

During her lifetime, she worked in the office for 2 ½ years at McCrary Warehouse, Huntingdon, PA.  She was primarily a homemaker until establishing Brumbaugh Lumber, Shirleysburg, PA in 1982 where she served as office manager until retirement in 2004.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Crossview Missional Church, 18546 Cooks Rd., Cassville, PA 16623.
