Cloyd W. Mansberger, 86, of Trough Creek Valley Pike, Calvin, PA, died Friday, August 2, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
Born April 30, 1933 in Union Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late Wilmer and Irene (Harbaugh) Mansberger. He was united in marriage to the former Beryl Houck on September 8, 1956. Mrs. Mansberger survives at their home.
He is also survived by three sons, Michael Mansberger and wife Tarea and Steven Mansberger and wife Diane, all of Calvin, PA and Robert Mansberger and wife Stacy of Cassville, PA, five grandchildren, Allison Eisenhower, Darcie Boden, Kale Mansberger, Heather Hudac and Jordan Mansberger and five great grandchildren. One brother, Duane Mansberger, preceded in death.
He was a member of the Trough Creek Valley Volunteer Fire Company.
For most of his life he was a logger and he also worked as a coal miner.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with Pastors Randen Wright and Todd Christine officiating. Interment will be made privately at the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery, RD, Calvin, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
