David G. McClain

David G. McClain, 66, of Petersburg, PA died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

Born on April 15, 1954 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late Gilbert G. and Elsie L. (Querry) McClain.

Mr. McClain is survived by fiancé Roxie Prough of Petersburg, PA and children Nicole Hammond and husband Kenneth of Upper Strasburg, PA and Cory McClain and wife Stephanie of Mount Union, PA.  There are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are siblings Carol E. Colbert, Larry A. McClain, Bonnie E. Hess, Darlene L Henise, Kathleen A. Barnhart, and Terry L. McClain.

During his lifetime, Mr. McClain was a truck driver.

He enjoyed hunting, going to Potter County, and riding ATVs.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Crossview Missional Church, 18546 Cooks Rd, Cassville, PA, with Pastor Dan Mansberger officiating.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
