Dorothy J. Reihart, 80, of Trough Creek Valley Pike, Huntingdon, PA, died Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home.
Born on October 16, 1942 in Huntingdon County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Greenland) Scott. She was united in marriage to William Reihart on May 15, 1964 in Calvin, PA. Mr. Reihart preceded in death on March 18, 2018.
She is survived by children Scott Reihart and wife Michele, Prattville, AL and Hallie Reihart and husband Bryan Summers, Huntingdon, PA, grandchildren Ashley, Nakisha, Hunter, Clayton, Haven and Calina and great-grandchildren Brayden and Ryleigh. One brother, Ed “Butch” Scott, also survives.
Mrs. Reihart was a member of Crossview Missional Church, Cassville, PA.
During her lifetime, she was employed at Penn Central Bank, the former Swigart and Associates (now Mutual Benefit Group) and Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, all in Huntingdon, PA. She had volunteered at the Salvation Army and was a member of the local Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Reihart enjoyed vacationing, playing games and spending time with friends in Florida. She also loved to sing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary Street, Cassville, PA with Pastor Dan Mansberger officiating. Interment will be made at Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery, Calvin, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
