Duane H. Park

Duane H. Park, 91, of Mapleton Depot, PA, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, PA.

Born on December 23, 1933 in Saltillo, PA, he was the son of the late Guy and Ethel (Bowman) Park.  He was united in marriage to Donna Hamilton on September 16, 1956.  Mrs. Park survives at home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son David Park, Riddlesburg, PA, daughter Tracey Leach, Duncannon, PA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sister Charlotte McAllen and brother Wilford Park also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Max Park, brothers Carl Park and Glenn Park and sister Mabel Starr.

Mr. Park was a graduate of Saltillo High School - Class of 1953.

He was an active member of the Beech Run Church of the Brethren, Mapleton Depot, PA.

During his lifetime, he was employed as a finish carpenter.  Outside of work, he enjoyed working on various woodworking projects at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Beech Run Church of the Brethren, 14918 Hares Valley Road, Mapleton Depot, PA with Pastor Steve Keim officiating.  Interment will be at Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery, Mapleton Depot, PA.  Friends may call at the church from 6 - 8:00 PM Monday evening and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beech Run Church of the Brethren, 14918 Hares Valley Road, Mapleton Depot, PA 17052.
