Helen R. Dell

Helen R. Dell, 95, of Cassville, PA, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born September 11, 1926 in Cass Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Annice (Parks) Grissinger. She was united in marriage to Bob A. Dell on September 28, 1946. Mr. Dell preceded in death on September 13, 1984. 

She is survived by three children, Gary Bob Dell and wife Kathy and Debra Shope and husband Donald, all of Cassville and Betty Grissinger and husband Ronald of RD, Mapleton, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren. Three brothers, Homer, Lester and Chester Grissinger and five sisters, Myrtle Rickabaugh, Adeline Shope, Alice Pheasant, Hazel Shafer and Anna Stapleton, preceded in death.

Mrs. Dell was a member of the Hope In The Valley United Methodist Church, formerly the Cassville United Methodist Church, and the Trough Creek Valley Fire Co.

During her life she was a homemaker.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with Rev. William Bair officiating. Interment will be made at Cassville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
