John Cirko, 81, of Broad Top, PA, went to the Lord at 6:32 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Mechanicsburg, PA, following a long courageous battle with heart disease. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, son, daughter in law and grandson.
Born April 16, 1944 at Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Wolfe) Cirko. He was united in marriage to the former Donna Young on October 2, 1965. Mrs. Cirko survives at their residence.
Mr. Cirko is also survived by his son, John Cirko and his wife Maria Cirko, as well as his grandson, Zachary Cirko and his sister, Shirley Runk. He was preceded in death by his brother, John “Bobby” Cirko and his sister, Doris Grainey.
Mr. Cirko was a dedicated professional, owning and operating his own heating and air conditioning business before retiring. His hard work and integrity left a lasting impact on the many people he served.
He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and was a devoted member of Cromwell lodge #572, F. & A. M., Orbisonia, PA, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and brotherhood.
Above all, John’s greatest passion was his family. His generosity had no bounds and he found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. His warmth, kindness and dedication will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Robert I.McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with David Theys officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Afterward a meal will be served at the Trough Creek Valley Community Church, 19820 Sugar Run Road, Todd, PA.
The services will begin with Cromwell Lodge #572 conducting a masonic memorial service at 11:00 AM.
