Larry L. “Lip” Leonard, 60, of Saltillo, PA, died Monday, January 22, 2024 at his home.
Born August 23, 1963 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late George and Betty (Prough) Leonard.
He is survived by one sister, Celia Port of Mapleton, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Gary and Roger and two sisters, Patty Leonard and Karen Smith.
Mr. Leonard was a member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA.
He was last employed by Danzer, Inc., Shade Gap, PA.
He was very fond of his cat “Sassy”.
Mr. Leonard was a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard, having been deployed to Kosovo during his service.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating. Interment will be made privately at the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery, Calvin, PA.Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
