Linda L. Steel

Linda L. Steel, 80, of Happy Hills Road, Huntingdon, PA, died Monday, December 16, 2024 at her residence.

Born on October 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor (Kelly) Whitsel.  She was united in marriage to Randall Steel, Sr. on September 11, 1970.  Mr. Steel survives at home.

Mrs. Steel is survived by children Michael Himes, Randall Steel, Jr. and Lisa Steel, grandchildren Lindsey Himes, Adrianna Henderson, Laken Steel, Roxanne Himes and Roberta Parker, great-grandchildren Avalee, Liam, Oaklee, Colton, Maizen and Ever.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson Zachary Steel and sister Barbara Himes.

During her lifetime, she found joy in crafts and co-owned The Ragged Edge, a craft store in Huntingdon, PA, which she ran alongside her daughter for a few years. She also enjoyed flower gardens, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary Street, Cassville, PA with Pastor Dan Mansberger officiating.  Interment will be at Cassville Cemetery, Cassville, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 - 9:00 PM Thursday evening and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
