Madelene M. Shope

Madelene M. Shope, 101, of Cassville, PA, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.

Born October 18, 1919 in Union Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Eston and Anna (Steel) Querry and was raised by her grandparents, Jesse and Flora Querry. She was united in marriage to Donald W. Shope on October 8, 1938. Mr. Shope preceded in death on April 16, 1983.

She is survived by three children, Linda Kuhstos of Calvin, PA and Donald R. Shope and Bryan K. Shope, both of Cassville, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a half brother, Duane Querry.

She last attended the former Bible Protestant Church of Cassville.

During her life she was a homemaker.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, Cassville, PA with Mr. Larry Hicks officiating. Interment will be made privately at Cassville Cemetery.
