Ronald A. Hicks

Ronald A. Hicks, 57, of Cassville, PA, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home.

Born January 21, 1963 at Wellsboro, PA, he was a son of the late James T. Hicks, Sr. and H. Ruth (Jenkins) Hicks, who survives of Calvin, PA. He was united in marriage to the former Sharon Brown on June 6, 1987 at the Heritage Baptist Church, RD, Three Springs, PA. Mrs. Hicks survives at their home.

He is also survived by one sister, Terri Schmeck and husband Rich of Harrisburg, PA, one brother, James Hicks, Jr. of Cassville, PA and a number of nieces and nephews who were very close to him.

Mr. Hicks was a member of the Cassville United Methodist Church, the Trough Creek Valley Volunteer Fire Company, Mt. Union Lodge #688, F. & A. M. and was the Huntingdon County EMA coordinator for Cassville Borough.

He had been employed at the former Gateway Foods, Inc., Huntingdon PA and Seton, Inc., Saxton, PA.

Mt. Union Lodge #688 F. & A. M. will conduct a masonic service at 11:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2020 with the funeral service immediately following at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA. Interment will be made at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Broad Top, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday.
