Stewart V. Brown, Jr.

Stewart V. Brown, Jr., 64, of Petersburg, PA, died Thursday evening, July 2, 2020 at his home.

Born May 17, 1956 at Phillipsburg, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Stewart V., Sr. and Bonnie (McNemar) Brown. He was united in marriage to the former Marie Witters on December 30, 1993 in Virginia. Mrs. Brown survives at their home.

He is also survived by five children, Melanie Wagman and husband David of Huntingdon, PA, Heidi Johnson and husband Donald of Petersburg, PA, Benjamin Wright and companion Betsy Brumbaugh of Huntingdon, PA, Heather Brown and companion Mark Wilson of Huntingdon, PA and Jeremy Wright of RD, Huntingdon, PA, sixteen grandchildren and five siblings, Judy Van Doren of New Jersey, Jeannie Melchiori of Florida, Vicki Rider and Coralie Herbert, both of State College, PA, and Steven Brown of Maryland.

Mr. Brown was of the Methodist faith.

He was employed by Miller’s Auto Parts, Huntingdon and later by Crites Transfer, Maryland, both as a truck driver.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his family and spending time with them.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with Rev. Randen Wright officiating. Interment will be made at the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery, RD, Calvin, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
