Susan L. Curfman

Susan L. Curfman, 61, of Cooks Road, Cassville, PA, died Friday, April 7, 2023 at her home.

Born January 2, 1962 at Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Dorothy (Price) Wilson. She was united in marriage to Clair Curfman on September 6, 1986. Mr. Curfman survives at their home.

She is also survived by four daughters, Casie Pyne and husband Guy of Calvin, PA, Hattie White and husband Daniel of Saxton, PA, Erin Taylor and husband Logan of Bedford, PA and McKenna Curfman of Cassville, three grandchildren, Katie Pyne, Carter Pyne and Murphie White, two brothers, Rodney Wilson and wife Candie of New Philadelphia, OH and Stephen Wilson and wife Lauren of Cassville and two nieces, Stephenie Wilson and Valerie Wilson. One granddaughter, Dani White, preceded in death.

Mrs. Curfman was a member of the Hope In The Valley United Methodist Church, Cassville, PA. 

She retired in 2021 from the Tussey Mountain School District where she was employed as a learning support teacher.

During her life she was very active in her church and in her community. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Hope In The Valley United Methodist Church, 268 Maple St., Cassville, PA with Pastor Rick Anderson officiating. Interment will be made at Cassville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
