Susan M. (Trout) Watkins

Susan M. Watkins, 84, of Cassville, PA, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her residence.

Born on October 2, 1939 in Todd Township, Huntingdon County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Nora (Greenland) Trout.  She was united in marriage to Alfred H. Watkins.  Mr. Watkins preceded in death on July 10, 1980.

She is survived by daughters Brenda Deline and husband Terry and Tammy Foor and husband Mark, all of Cassville, PA.  Also surviving are grandchildren Kenneth Watkins, Jr. and wife Kristi, Ashley Reed, Tiffany Watkins and boyfriend Shadoe Morder, Christopher Deline and wife Kim, Eric Deline and wife Brittany, Jessica Deline, Hannah Deline, Derrick Foor, Tiffany Crouse and husband Troy and Ashley Foor, great-grandchildren Riley Morder, Jase Watkins, Kairi Reed, Sydney Morder, Paxlee Morder, Madelyn Deline, Emmalynn Deline, Baylee Deline, Kayleigh Crouse, Savayin Coons, Payton Crouse, Julian Foor, Cayson Tress and Raiden Burke and siblings Harry Trout, Vivian Danfelt and husband Carl and Jean Weber and husband Walter.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by son Kenneth L. Watkins, Sr, daughter-in-law Lisa Watkins, grandsons Dustin Deline and Paul Coons, Jr., granddaughter-in-law Breckin Guliante and sister-in-law Mary Jane Trout.

She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School - Class of 1959. 

Mrs. Watkins was a lifetime member of the Trough Creek Valley Sportsman’s Club and the Trough Creek Valley Fire Company.  She was a past member of Lady Evelyn Rebekah Lodge #22, Cassville, PA.  She attended New Hope Baptist Church, Broad Top City, PA.

During her lifetime, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crocheting, working on her number books, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, camping and going on trips with her cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, PA with Pastor Zachary Kerlin officiating.  Interment will be at Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery, Calvin, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 - 9:00 PM Friday evening and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
