Virginia A. (Gurd) Williams

Virginia A. Williams, 72, of Bellefonte, PA, died Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Centre Care, Bellefonte, PA.

Born on June 13, 1951 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Vera (Dell) Gurd.

She is survived by daughter Lisa Evans, son Chester Evans and wife Dawn, son Richie Williams, sister Nettie Peters and husband John, sister Betty Dell and companion C.A.P., brother Robert Gurd and wife Bobbi Jo and sister Christine Stoll and husband Gerald.  There are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by children Paul Evans and Wesley Evans and sister Norma Jobe.

Following graduation from Huntingdon Area High School, she was employed at various locations in Huntingdon and the surrounding areas.

Her family would like to recognize and thank the staff of Centre Care, especially Laurie, for the personal attention and professional care given during her stay there.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
