Wallace B. Querry, 85, of Roland Road, Huntingdon, PA, died Monday, September 5, 2022 at his home.
Born December 17, 1936 at Johnstown, PA, he was a son of the late James and Myra (Podluky) Querry. He was united in marriage to the former Antoinette Rutkowski on July 21, 1995. Mrs. Querry survives at their home.
He is also survived by two children, Myra Norrell and Gregory Querry and three stepchildren, John Kielian and wife Lisa, Michele Williams and Kimberly Brown and husband Paul, two sisters, Jeanine McWilliams and husband Bing and Reita Pearce, three grandchildren, Joshua Brown and wife Brooke, Megan Williams and Olivia Kielian, one great grandson, Joshua Brown, Jr. and a number of other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Querry and one sister, Luanna Slagel.
Mr. Querry was a member of Mapleton American Legion Post 322, Mapleton Depot, PA, the North American Hunting Club and he was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
He retired from American Airlines after 27 years service.
Mr. Querry was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U. S. Air Force.
He will be remembered as a very patriotic man who enjoyed the outdoors.
A private graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 9, 2022 at Oak Cemetery, 230 Hipp St., Johnstown, PA.
