Wilbur Thomas “Tom” McClain, 86, of Orbisonia, PA, died Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on June 5, 1937 in Union Township, Huntingdon County, PA he was the son of the late Dwight V. and Pearl E. (Stapleton) McClain. He was united in marriage to Wanda Price. Mrs. McClain survives of Orbisonia, PA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Michael McClain, Euless, TX. Also surviving are siblings Jinny Johnson, Hesston, PA, Richard “Pickle” McClain and wife Elsie, Cassville, PA, Barry McClain and wife Edna, Mt. Union, PA and Steven McClain and wife Connie, Huntingdon, PA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McClain was preceded in death by son Randy McClain and siblings Kevin McClain, Winston McClain, Gilbert McClain, Dorothy Heaster, Betty Flanigan, Edna Hall and Joanne Edwards.

He was a graduate of Captain Jack High School.

Mr. McClain was a veteran of the United States Navy.

During his lifetime, he was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and traveling to hunting camp in Potter County, PA.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
